Relaxwell™ is a unique combination of L Tryptophan, L Theanine, plus vitamins B6 and B3. Each selected for their known role supporting stress, relaxation and sleep.
L-Tryptophan is an essential amino acid, which has been used for decades to support mood and promote sleep. A natural precursor to serotonin and melatonin. The body can't make its own tryptophan, it must be taken in as part of the diet.
L-Theanine is a natural phytochemical found in green tea. A non-essential, amino acid, it supports the production of the calming brain neurotransmitter GABA, helping improve mood and quieten the mind. It has also been shown to enhance brain alpha-wave activity, a marker of relaxation.
Vitamin B3 (Nicotinic Acid & Niacinamide) and B6 (Pyridoxine HCL) help support the normal functioning of the nervous system, and reduces tiredness and fatigue. B3 also plays a key role in serotonin synthesis, while B6 contributes to the regulation of hormonal activity. During periods of stress our requirement for both of these B vitamins increases, as they are water soluble they need to be replaced on a daily basis.
